Big Box-O-Fun

Here we have the last from the Big Box-O-Fun and the neatest. I am not sure but I think this is called 'The Disney Characters Musical Parade'. This is a very large box. I am not sure of the release year but the tracks are the older type with the rough surface on the rails instead of the grooved rails like we see now-a-days. Like the Stephenson Spy Train Set above there are lots of stickers to put on and like the Stephenson Spy Train I will make a short video of this Disney Musical Parade train on the...where else?....the Disney Layout. Smile

I know Tomy has done tons of Disney themed stuff over the years but that's one I've never seen. Lord help me, my daughter never needs to see this or I'll never hear the end of it! It scores with several of her favorite things; Disney, miniature figures and trains. I haven't had the heart to let her know that Tomy once made a similar Plarail Hello Kitty set either! She's been begging for one of those for months without even knowing that it actually existed years ago! Confused

i have seen that set on jauce, but its always been out of my price range. i always liked that the card art shows morty and ferdy, mickeys nephews who arent often seen anywhere. and looking closer, that looks like clarabelle cow, too. while she is more commonly seen now, but wasnt the case back then.
cant wait to see a video of how it works! congrats, super!

Thanks fellas

Just wanted to make sure the lead float worked so I popped in a couple AA's and I can say that the music playing, is of course, Its A Small World and the volume is quite high and can be easily heard. These will need a wide berth on each side of the Floats on the layout as they are so wide.

There is also another set that looks close to this one and easier to get that had me fooled a couple of times. It is called the Thomas & Many Freight Car Set http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10146993

Hmmm, I'm not sure, I may have to check my one and see which it is I got Smile
