thomas and friends mini series

Hi everyone,
I've been away way too long, last time I checked our local stores here, it still looked like they had the boxes of last year's 2nd wave but half the boxes were smashed some of them torn open, just a mess.
I had almost given up, but I think seeing Drew's list is up again, it made me think of going back and trying to catch up. I still have about 20-30 minis in boxes that I didn't open, but I suspect there are many duplicates in there.

I am seeing new numbers, does this mean bags are back? Or are these still being sold in boxes with plastic cargo cars?

@Pablo392, In my local Asda, I did see the minis were sold in the blind bags. I have not seen any plastic cargo carts in person yet.

series 22 should be current.

shock, shock, SHOCK find at a local store this evening. found a full box of series 23 on the shelf. am in the process of opening, recording the numbers and taking photos.

Nice. Let me know if you got slime Ashima and her number. I’ve now found 4 nearly full series 23 boxes and somehow haven’t come across that train. Even though there seem to be two of each in the boxes. Maybe I’m looking for the wrong number but I’d assume it’s 579. Odds of both 579 being missing from all 4 near full boxes seems weird.

you are correct, slime ashima is 579. seems very odd that you havent found one. i wonder if people are thinking that is metallic percy, or else ashima might be very popular? hopefully you can find one!

Stopped by Target, WM, they don't have any bags, they still have boxes, but it said Series 3. I think this means the last year's Series 3 since we had Series 1 the original, Series 2 that came up later, and now Series 3?

Does anyone know if we should wait for Bags in the states, or is it lost cause at this point.

Thanks for all the spreadsheet number updates for wave 23! Still haven’t seen them in the west coast of Canada. Lots of wave 22 kicking around. Mostly picked through at Walmart’s and TRU’s. Honestly it’s nice to know that this wave is only 24 trains. 48 is a lot to look for in one go! Hope all have you have been well and healthy!!

i quite liked the 48 series, as it meant just counting the box, not having to check numbers as such. with this new case, i hadnt seen a number list, so just counted the box as usual and bought the lot. lol. i was too excited to waste time looking at numbers, just wanted to get them home and opened. have on-sold the second almost-set to another collector.

found another box in the same town, but a different store. grabbed the metallic percy, completely forgot the request from AOF so will be going back tomorrow and having another go.
