thomas and friends mini series

Has anyone seen what minis will be in the advent calendar this year. Excluding the seasonal ones? Just wondering if the other 18 non-seasonal ones will be from series 23 or maybe 24?

our old friend tf_minis on twitter has posted a couple of very blurry images, one claiming to be the contents, but it is basically unreadable.

he has posted a clear scruff with elf ears and a percy that features the handrails on either side of the door.

tootally has it shown on his facebook page, which is where tf got that blurry image from.

Looks like wave 24 and the advent calendar will be the last releases for 2021. Who knows what or if we’ll see anything in 2022.

i kind of hope they stop after this year, as much as i love the minis. i would like to see less repeated themes and more original ones. in saying that, i would like to see the fairy tales/nursery rhyme one expanded on.

I enjoyed when they did the licenced minis. Such as DC, TMNT and Tootsie themes. Would have been great to have more of those. Not much life to the minis these days. Themes are quite boring.

i was pleased when dc stopped. there were too many obscure characters being made. i think they went as far as they could with the other licensed ranges, and their only option would have been to find a new batch of licenses to make.
it would have been nice to see some of their female characters done with barbie styling, or mlp, care bears etc.

series 24 spotted. not sure where, presumably the states? pics from twitter. apparently, the classic repeats are new due to rivet detailing.

So much for not having to worry about variations anymore! Wonder if the ‘sweets’ in series 24 have detail changes as well?

Found the new ones today. Very surprised. Guess I always am when I come across them.






Despite paying for all 24, I must have somehow misplaced the new look James and will go back tomorrow to get it. Not sure if this link will work, but I tried to take a pic of all of them. And I took various pics of the old ones to inspect for variations but I haven’t gone back to check myself.
