Is that a textured blue paint from a can or airbrushed Ffar?

4/24/21 Update
Did a bit more work with Sir Handel and Duncan. Sir Handel: The paintjob is basically complete now, he just needs stickers and a clear coat. Duncan: Almost fully painted, just missing the gold detailing. (Foreground; both images) The 4 Pairs of Annie and Clarabel: Doused down in rubbing alcohol to remove dirt before priming sometime in the coming days. (Background)

Looking good Ffar. Do you make the stickers yourself and is the clear coat applied over the stickers?
@FfarquharDeveloper they look great, good luck with them!

4/25/21 Update 1
Duncan: Fully painted and just awaiting stickers. Sir Handel also appears in the photos sometimes but he's already at the same stage as Duncan is. Skarloey Coaches: yeah, so this is what I needed the Annie and Clarabels for. I primed them with a light grey Tamiya rattle-can primer Then I started painting them up with Vallejo Acrylic paints. The next update probably won't be for quite a bit of time due to school. 4/25/21 Update 2 Sir Handel: Completed with the addition of eight stickers. Duncan: Completed with the addition of ten stickers.

I do the decals in a program called paint.net then one of my parents prints them out since they work with stickers and a Cricut printer quite often. The clear coat isn't applied over the stickers, they're either just left paper or they're laminated.

Since we're at the end of the month I thought now would be a good time to post all my stuff from the previous two months in a video.

The new Annie and Clarabel as narrow gauge coaches will look nicer with the old style engines. In addition to the smaller chassis, the windows being closer together also makes them more accurate than the official versions. I know the NG coaches had faces like A&C's in Season 4, but I still think you should've sanded the moulded features before priming.
