Possible Diorama Buildings...

Nice to know Super, my bulk ones haven't turned up yet to compare. However I've already ordered a second batch on the basis I would anyway lol!

BTW Super, I think these are the type of plugs, although you may have to search for the specific size as they come in various sizes and number of pins (two pins for our application);

Many thanks Nigels. If those sockets are as small as the ones on these block lights then they are what I have been searching for to use with other projects. Instead of hard wiring my buildings I like to use plugs to be able to separate the wiring easily in case of additions or repairs. The ones I use now are bigger and a bit bulkier. They also would be great for plugging in coaches to coaches if necessary. They aren't that expensive so I am going to grab some.
No problem mate, it may be worth measuring the size of the ones you have and then searching for "JST plugs" as they do come in different sizes Smile

Thanks Nigels
It is difficult to tell with the listings and the measurements they give exactly how big or small they are. I did find an American seller that is selling 20 pairs for only $3.99 including shipping which seems to be even cheaper than the ones coming out of China which is unusual, probably hot. They also have the Silicon wires which I think are more pliable than the stiffer, regular wires. I think they may be the right size but at least having them in my hand I can tell for sure and even if they are big they are still probably smaller than the ones I have and use now.

This picture is not from the Seller I bought from but they are listed with the same dimensions and descriptions. I am hoping these work.

I know exactly what you mean mate, trying to figure out which ones you need if fitting to something pre-existing can be difficult. Of course if you just want a plug n socket for a project its a whole less difficult.

By all means let me know how you get on with them as it may help me as well if I decide to go sourcing some more (if I can't find my existing ones lol)

I just received (in two separate packages) today my first batch of the LED lighting units and six new mini buildings to add to my collection. All good stuff, have to have a check and see what other mini buildings are available to add to my growing collection Smile

Nigels the plugs I bought are an exact match and in addition to these light blocks they are perfect, nice and small, to use for other lighting projects where I want the ability to disconnect wiring easily. These are the ones I bought Micro JST 1.25 2 Pin male & female connector plugs with wires. The wires on these are the softer Silicon which works much better than regular wire in tight spaces. Thanks again for the heads up. I now have assembled all the electrical parts to start working on some Mods, however, as of yet I haven't managed to assemble some time. Smile

Glad I could help Super, I thought they would be the correct ones based on what I remembered of the ones I bought previously. Like you however I just can't seem to find time to carry out these little projects and mods to fruition (for example I still want to do that custom Star Wars PlaRail Advance Nankai Rap:it lol!!).

I just received yesterday my 2nd batch of the blocks and lights as well, so all good here now, I think I actually got more than I need to light my entire set of the mini-buildings if I want!! Smile

Yes, don't let that Advance Star Wars Nankai Rapi:t drop off the to-do list. I'd love to see it. (Though a red or Peach version would be even nicer!)

I got all the bits cloud, including images of the transfers used on the original, an airbrush to re-paint it to black, etc... It's just the eternal problem of finding time between work, life, etc... Smile

I may have to get another couple of standard examples so I can do peach and gundam versions also Smile

Mind you I already got a peach version in a Bandai shorty (shortened N gauge) which is quite cool Wink
