You mean the BNSF (After their merger) diesel?
Here's an Example

If you say so mate, as I said I'm no expert on USA trains, now British ones and to a degree continental european maybe, not too bad even on Japanese now-a-days, but not USA Smile

Still a nice looking kit though I think and at a price that is a fraction of the Lego version Smile

I've got some knowledge of the USA, at least from a decade or two ago. Can't tell you much about today except for the fact that Amtrak is going downhill.

I was absolutely certain I replied to this, but now I can't see my post. Was it unsaved or deleted?

Not by me, I don't believe I got the ability to delete anything, maybe you did your usual trick of being negative or something and a mod deleted it before it started another row Smile

I am not aware of anyone deleting any post you thought you made.
My latest Ausini (aka Lego) train turned up this evening, I guess I know what I'll be building tomorrow, thought I'd show you a pic of what I got;

I actually wish Ausini stuck to diesels and electric trains, because the steam ones are totally ruined by not having corresponding wheels nor coupling rods. Yes, LEGO's 9V My Own Train line also had steamers with bogies, but that doesn't mean it should be replicated.

Yup, 630, but there is only the loco and one carriage plus 8 pieces of track Smile

I've finished building it, quite impressive looking actually. In some ways Lego could learn a few lessons from Aussini, they seem to mostly give you the flat plates, so that most of the 'pegs' on the bricks are covered giving a far more professional finish. Smile

I know what you mean, but at the same time you have to look at the price they are selling at, they are way cheaper than the lego equivalents, besides all it would take to 'fix' the problem would be to source some alternative wheels and some technic beams and pegs Smile
