Looks really good think it will it be motorized? Definitely on a mainly lego theme at the moment haha
surprisingly enough, this will be the first lego train i buy. my brother has an old 9V one here somewhere which i will dig out. im hoping to make this new one fit that chassis, as a push train doesnt have as much value to me.
the set here will likely be $150+, and then add around $50 for the PF kit. least i hopefully wont have to pay shipping as i want to buy it with the disney castle, which stores here wont be getting.
Is that australian dollars Sun? Still a hefty price, but there again so are all Lego sets. The only nice thing is the quality is good and over time so long as you keep them complete they actually appreciate in value.
I remember reading an article about a year ago that said if you'd bought Lego sets back in 2009 after the credit crunch and sold them today you'd actually make more money than you could on the stock exchange in the same period lol!
Happily collecting things all my life...
new zealand dollars. thats only a guess based on the more recent winter village sets. the first one i bought was $100, and its gone up since then each year. this one may be more expensive again.
some sets, like the original christmas train, are worth close to thousands. much as i would have loved that, cant be justified, lol.
i actually lied before, too. i do have one other train... the toy story one. keep forgetting about it.
