heya tramp. can you believe i paid a whole $10NZD for the two d51's? they both run amazingly quietly, from my quick "battery in to make sure it works", and neither required much work, just the usual unwinding of fluff from the axles. the insides look pretty clean.
i really like the steamers from this range. i think ive seen a c12 on google, but looked at so many over the last few days theyve blended together, lol.
good stuff! id love a closer photo of the plakids on the box when it arrives, so i can try and find the correct ones for mine. never seen the cart before... thats cute! if you really dont want the trees, i will buy them.
that c12 sure is cute. good thing my wallet doesnt have legs, otherwise itd be running away right now...
tried mt fuji and it fits the red circle nicely. has about a 1cm gap most of the way round, so no room for other trees etc to be placed. could put a few plakids if you were using a flat surface so they stand by themselves.
Thanks Sunhuntin for checking if the Mt Fuji will fit in the red U-Turn track. Of course I will send you a close up picture of the Plakids when they arrive but if the seller sends me the original box you can have it if you want along with the trees as I don't have a need for either and would rather see it go to someone who would appreciate them. No charge, except for the cost of shipping. I will let you know when it arrives.
No problem Super anytime you are wondering about Japanese trains ask, I will be glad to discuss it as I am thoroughly in Love with them, and if it something I don't know I will research it because I love learning new things as well, one of the perks about this Hobby is that I am always learning!
