I am sure he would be itching to do an unboxing and first run of any new Plarail releases if he can get his hands on one.

If only that awesome Adventure Begins Thomas had a CGI face. Then again, they only seem to reserve it for special models for some reason.

I am curious that if this new set was released last Friday the 7th and supposedly available in Toys R Us stores in Japan, why have we not seen one unboxing and/or review posted on YouTube yet? And for that matter, Sellers listing them on the Japan Auctions looking to make a little profit. I am really surprised not to see at least a video as YouTubers are always out to be the first in their videos to get more views.

Great question. Other that the short video I posted which is little to nothing and maybe one other one I have not seen anything. I will likely not make a video/review but will certainly post some pics when mine arrives. Speaking of which I have 2 more items that should be arriving at the FromJapan and then providing I do not win something else, will be ordering the shipment. Of course this will likely be another $150 in shipping and fees this time, but there should be some good items.

Distance from Japan to Malaysia is 5,131 kilometers. Already traveled far for this Japan exclusive? Wish they took better pictures.

Oh geesh...after looking at the listing again I realized I had been fooled. Because the picture shows 3 sets I thought the price was for the three which I didn't think to be that bad but certainly not for just one. Picturing multiple items in one listing is a trick that I have noticed used a lot in the Yahoo Japan Auctions and one I was fooled on once.

I wouldn't worry Ucwepn. Because it looks like all the Toys R Us store (of which there are many) in Japan have lots in Stock and I think that once the initial rush dies down and the collectors and hoarders all have theirs, this set may be much more easily attained in a while and for a lot less especially if the Limited time for the offering is one year. Besides the world would be looking forward to a famous Ucwepn un-boxing and first run video.
