List of Thomas Character Trains

What I am looking for is to buy all Tomy Trains but want to buy the Characters that Tomy never made to.

Would Paxton be exclusive to Trackmaster or Rheneas and not Tomy?

Duke was first manufactured by HiT Toys before Fisher-Price began manufacturing the TM 1.0 line.

I guess I am getting confused about Hit. What I am doing is buying all Tomy Thomas Trains, The ones that were not made by Tomy I would have to have also. Basically I want a collection of all characters with Tomy being the preferred brand. So if they never made a Character then that is what the list is for. Maybe I am just confusing myself.

I understand what you mean! You want to purchase New-In-Box Thomas & Friends characters for your grandchildren, preferably ones from the quality TOMY brand before deferring to the secondary companies like HiT Toys and Fisher-Price.

That's right; Duke wasn't made by the TOMY Company, so he can't go on the list. Unfortunately, a number of engines were manufactured between all three companies, so the list can be tricky to properly create.

Oliver is the only engine to be released by only 2 companies, both HiT Toys and TOMY.

There really isn't an engine solely manufactured by one company, but Oliver was only found mainly through the TOMY logo and manufacturing.

Ok....now I am even more confused. The list I was trying to create was for any character not made by Tomy so Duke should be on the list. But then you say that no character was made by one company. I think I should just give up on this list as its hard to follow.
