paint always ends up wearing off the sides of the wheels (my flying Scotsman and my Jinty's are proof of that), that's why I opted for the correct colored plastic wheels on my Bill & Ben customs 
I am hoping to review the new Talking Thomas today and then do a full wheel conversion on that!
