Thanks Sunhuntin!
It's strange why they have an asterisk next to Harold and Nia, even though they are not "returning favorites".
Here’s the visual list of the 2019/2 Minis!

Just curious about our most popular Thread and the Collectors here.... Has there been a total count of exactly how many different Mini's have been released to date? Seems like every time I come down here to see how you all are doing you are talking about a whole set of new releases?
Super,

According to Drewbenn’s checklist there are 455 minis with more on the way and a ton of variations not included in that total.

Wow...I didn't realize there were That many. Anyone of you Collectors have them all so far?
I have 430. And that’s only because there are often times that sets aren’t released properly nationwide or even in other countries, so they have to be imported to get them. I’m basically only 2 sets shy of having everything that’s been realistically available to me. There are a couple other sets that are out that aren’t quite in Canada yet. And I just have to hope they come. They’re constantly adding more packs and it feels likes in been ages since I’ve actually been properly caught up so I can take a bit of a break.

I made a video for my own amusement a month or so ago or all my minis sorted in their series. It’s all trains from 215-2018 minus the 3 beach trains and the 6 new Christmas trains. Somewhere around 400 trains give or take. It’s getting a few views which has been interesting.

I would say some reasons the series is so popular is because they don’t slow down with them. If you started collecting early on casually because it was a fairly affordable way to collect some cute little trains that had lots of variety and were pretty well made, you will probably feel compelled to continue adding to the collection each time there’s a new series released. And if you don’t stay on top of the fury of releases, you’re only going to screw yourself later when it becomes that much harder to find older rarer trains. The irony is that it’s not really an affordable series to collect. Depending if you want them all or not. If you just stick to the blind bags, for sure, it’s a fairly cheap hobby, but that’s only part of the full collection. There’s tons of sets you need to buy for a single train or multi packs you need to spend $50 on just to get 3 trains. I’m not a huge fan of that, to be honest. I think it’s taking advantage of the collectors.

430...wow...that is awesome. I really liked the wide angled view of your entire collection near the end of the video...just wow.
Hey thanks. It’s fun to take em out and check em out every once in a while after they were laid out like that I hate to take a video. I don’t have the 2019 stuff in there. I’m sure there are others here all caught up even more than me.

Thanks Mike!
Ouch, $20 per mini.. Sure, it beats $100 for the super station, though.
