I found some plastic I beams on ebay last night... 1/4" is what I think i need. Pretty inexpensive so i ordered one to see if it'll do the trick.

nice. i never even thought of ebay! please let us know how they work out. could be a great way to display in a wall unit or similar.

I've been curious about them, but I never purchased any u till today cause of their size and my young children but there a bit older now so I picked up some 8 packs from walmart and there pretty neat, I can see why there popular!

My oldest son (5) has them sorted out by the "collection" and is eager to get more in the future. Geez I thought it was an adventure to try and collect the trackmaster/plarail and take n play trains lol

The yellow one sure looks like it is Thomas. I can *almost* convince myself I can read the word "Thomas" on its side, it looks like there is a light red outline of a '1' behind the word and the rest of the details (like the face shape and eyebrows) match the classic Thomas. Maybe that's the Construction Thomas rumored for 2017?

Is the green diesel Space Scruff (an alien face and a ray gun on the side)? That might become one of my favorites! I also like the dinosaur skeleton in the truck.

you could well be right with construction, there. above what looks like the name plate are black and yellow "danger" stripes. i also didnt see the dinosaur, or the ray gun. too early in the morning for that, lol.

suprise find here in nz last night... wave 4 2016 blind bags! store in my town got two boxes. picked out the new ones, and was only able to find one platinum thomas, which has a blemish on one side right out of the bag. was hoping to find at least 3 of that one.
