How funny our Target had them but with no box at all. There was a pile of them on the shelve. No price label...nothing. Kinda odd but I was happy they were there! I'm going to try Toys r us tomorrow and see what they have

If you opened them up... do the classic engines look the same as they did in the 2015 release, or are there any new details or changes? I wasn't planning on getting any of the engines we already had but I don't want to miss out on any new-and-improved engines.

I only purchased the new ones. I have far to many "spares" or twins as my daughter calls them as is.

Although if I can get a 3D printer past the wife, I have a few ideas for the extras to turn a little profit.

Finally minis showed up at target in ct. Nothing at TRU yet. With all these minis, you'd think they'd make some track sets...the twist n turn is pretty cool, I must say.

yes, the new bags should have 2016 - 01/02/03 etc one the front. much more obvious than last years stamps.

I was in Toys R Us in Brantford, Ontario (Canada) yesterday and saw a box of the blind bags, as well as a 3 pack containing engines other than Classic Stanley, Electrified Iron Bert, etc. Also, there were 2 different 7 or maybe 9 packs that had (from my awful memory) a mix of old favorites, 2016 wave 1 and other new/yet unreleased engines. Sorry, no pictures taken and I didn't buy them!
