thomas and friends mini series

Indeed they did I have a couple of examples of exactly that.

Having thought about it I have actually just come up with a possible cheap track solution for the mini's.

You remember those really really cheap Thomas knock-offs that someone found (Sun?), anyway whoever it was, I bought two as well, one Thomas the other Minions. After replying earlier it occured to me, what about the track in those.

Well having checked they are nearly the right size, the gauge is a little bigger than ideal, but otherwise they do work on the track, so maybe a cheap solution?

Of course the downside is you only get curves and straights and they are an almost radioactive orange colour, but at least they fit for the most part - maybe a solution until something better is found? Smile

The other thing I'll have to check is that old Takara track I have and which searching for info on brought me here in the first place. That is a similar design to the Tomy track, but a smaller gauge as are the trains. I've got quite a bit of that and have in fact since joining here even added to my range of engines of that type. I'll have to check one of those and let you guys know - although you don't see it listed often so you may not be able to get any - at least not if I see it first Angel

I bought some of the gray pack n play track for my son's minis and it works fine. I would add a picture but I don't know how to.

First, I love how you did this. I have the same containers and debated various ways to label the engines. I am assuming you did a 10 font. Is it glued to the outside of the container in the little ridged space? Yours just looks so neat and professional!

Same here. I talked to customer service before I ordered and explained the problem of the photos versus the description. She said the photos didn't count-the description is what to go by. She assured me it was the engines-it was the animals.

The labels have adhesive backings and I used a small piece of clear tape to make sure they stayed put.

Hello all, I've been reading this forum for awhile and enjoying all your pictures & blind bag guides. Thank you for all the work you do! I am trying to collect all the Thomas Minis and build a train table for my sons( when will there be tracks??) I am about ready to try to make my own tracks >.< . I have 3 sons- 7yr old, 5 yr old, and 2yr old , all love the trains. We come from a long line of serious train lovers so I guess I am getting them started early.

Now that I have some #s I plan to go out and try to fill in our collection. One Walmart has nothing but wave 1 while the other def has wave 3. I finally managed to snag the 50 pack online (on sale!) as well as the advent calendarSmile
