thomas and friends mini series

There’s a book I read to my kids where James is painted pink briefly (like a primer or something) before getting a new red coat of paint. But he has to pick up some kids for a birthday party last minute while he is still pink and he’s embarrassed to be seen pink. But he ends up liking it because it’s a little girl’s party who lets James knows it’s her favourite colour. Or something like that. I’m certain it’s an episode of the show.

The “new look” trains I believe follow that sort of theme. Which they’ve done in the past with the chocolate Percy and wet yellow victor covered in algae and stuff. I like the lines of minis where they reference the show.

this years advent calendar is on amazon for order, but not able to be shipped yet.

i need to work out who is new and who isnt, as $89 for only a few minis is too much!

Looks like Canada is getting bag releases while US is stuck with almost no Stock and on rare occasion still boxed releases with no numbering.
The re-release changes look nice but I think they are too subtle to be variant, but still cool.

I’ve found wave 24 in bags. Minis tend to be hidden in small conspicuous sections these days….

my advent calendar just arrived, 5 days early. for what i think is the first time, the doors are not in numerical order. as such, i have edited that section pablo's sheet and put them in the order the calendar says.

i dont have the bulk of my collection here, so cannot say if the other repeats have changes or not, except for thomas and percy having rivets, and salty maybe having had grab rails added.

spotted these online... has anyone seen them before? seller has 9 different ones, with the backs appearing to depict waves 1 and 2 from wayyyyyy back when.
seller gives no information on where they are from, size, material etc.

i have no clue. i think they might be cards, so about the size of a credit card, but no way to be sure. the auctions close in a few hours, so depending on how one very important one goes, i will throw bids at these as well, just out of curiousity!
