the major expense with monorail is the sloped track, if you choose to get some. even on jauce they go fairly high for what they are. luckily, its not needed for a standard layout.

Yes, Sunhuntin is correct. I have two sets of the sloped monorail tracks and they were quite expensive. Sometimes I have seen a couple of the monorail slopes in large Lots of regular tracks as maybe some sellers don't know what they have. I have even seen them used flat, for the regular train layouts in some videos. In fact it was in a video that I first saw these slopes and they were in a train layout.
