Can anyone tell me what set or sets these gray Elevated Rail Risers came with? I have always ignored buying these as I didn't like the fact that you couldn't run track along and under them but I received a handful in a bulk purchase and love how they fill the gap of the elevated rails and are much narrower than the usual gray 3" risers. I would like to pick up some more and use them wherever I have elevated rails with none underneath. I know I have seen the sets but like I said always ignored them in favor of the larger, pass through ones. Oh, how I wish Tomy would come out with a combination of these risers that fill in the gap of the elevated rails and the pass through ones. That would clean up the layout nicely. Any help would be appreciated.

Just received the package so it must have been a different varmint that beat you out. the guy that out bid me on the item I am referring to which has different grey risers and it was you haha same amount of feedback I was heart broken I could not watch it because I was at work http://www.ebay.com/itm/371238337644?ssP...1435.l2649
Oh, that one, I thought you were talking about the Auctions in Japan. Yes that was I but you will need to thank me for buying it. The set was far from new. The box was retaped, the sellers just assumed it was new. Items inside were all well used dirty, smudged up, a couple of cracked station windows (not broken) and the lever for the stop & go track broken off but still usable. The trains run well after cleaning more lint packed in that a dryer vent with only a few minor paint scratches. The seller was very good about it and admitted they they assumed it was new and offered me almost all my money back if I would just keep it which I gladly accepted.
First time I bought from this seller and would not hesitated to buy from again. All said and done, I made a mistake in buying this. I thought the risers were like the ones above but they are different so I wish you would have bought it LOL. After cleaning the whole set up I am going to relist it along with a loop of dark gray track through the lower station and another train. I had wondered why no one else bid at the end of the auction. Would have been a great deal if it was, indeed, un-opened but it did turn out OK.
can I have first dibs on the set before it hits eBay do not need you extras and it sounds like you already made out like a bandit yes i would have been very disappointed in its condition!

Nobody recognizes the sets these risers come in? So how about this...does anyone know a site or sites I could use to research for the sets?
Ha! I was the other bidder on this set. I decided not to heavily pursue it as I thought one of you would buy it.

Thomas Trackmaster Tomy Tomica Hypercity Plarail - Clear Tunnels, Shop, Crossing http://r.ebay.com/Y7hZUj I was bummed to miss it. oops link should have been in the second paragraph (02-01-2015, 02:12 AM)Super Wrote: Nobody recognizes the sets these risers come in? Super I know one set off hand and can easily find out the other sets that included these risers I have six of these risers and they come in handy very often in building layouts with elevated track that does not have space underneath it for regular risers. |
