Very nice Jdog. I would love to browse around a Plarail store. Is it a large one in the Station? Were you just passing through the Station on your way somewhere else? I would really also love to visit some of those second hand stores that I see so many YouTube videos of. Have you every visited one of them?

No I didn't. Dang! I was looking around to see if there was some kind of store exclusive like a special piece of rolling stock but I didn't notice any.

The size of the store isn't too big but there's so much stuff fitted in to small areas. I've been intending on going to this store for years but Tokyo Station was a necessary place that I needed to continue my traveling through so it worked out well. The Capsule Plarail toys were fortunate finds as I saw Gachapon vending machines everywhere covering the most bizarre things, but it was at another train station which contained around four Thomas wind-up series. I did see a couple of second hand stores. What I mostly saw were packed 5-7 leveled stores featuring all these strange figurines and action figures of anime characters I'd never heard of, and all these tiny hobby items like detailed models of buildings and places that just looked so delicate. Characters and licenses which I mostly saw everywhere (which is not an exaggeration) were Peanuts, Hello Kitty, Miffy, and Gudetama.

There should be signs everywhere around the store about store exclusives (but in Japanese… unfortunately…).

Did you at least get a Plarail DVD 2015 for spending over ¥3000 in the store?

thanks, plarnold Big Grin . could include pages showing photos of the plarail model alongside the real life train and maps showing where they run with key dates and such. and highlight stockists nearby.

I actually spent just under ¥3000. I'm not too fussed about missing out on a DVD since there are a lot of kind people today that have posted nearly all the DVDs on YouTube.
