My good sir, TOMY and early Trackmaster still have problems, but this new stuff is pure crap. When I have kids they arnt going to play with that. Like UCWEPN said "I wouldnt buy this for my kids". Trackmaster Revolution is absolutely repulsive and I will never buy a Trackmaster 2 product, never ever ever ever ever evvveeer.

I actually have had quite a few of the problems they listed a few posts back.the track wouldn't stay in their place a lot and would derail my engines. They couldn't pull very much either. Someone shouldn't expect too much from a $30.00 toy.A lot of us know that Tomy had its flaws and its negatives, but its a LOT better than TM revolution. And honestly, who wants to own a toy that they need to modify straight out of the box to use on the TM Classic and Tomy track?

Not everyone has original trackmaster and tomy they need to make it run on. It also says on the boxes, Adult Assembly Required. It is meant for kids. They won't care that the engine has every curve and corner correct. They'll just care that they have fun with it. They'll aso care that it has the basic look correct.
on thursday, i ran a revolution set up at the club. i took the troublesome traps set along with a loop of blue, as a friend was going to bring her son and some of his tomy/1.0 engines.
it annoys me that you have to really concentrate on putting the revolution together, with its weirdly twisted curves and things. it also derailed the engine a few times for no apparent reason. its unlikely that revolution track will be used again, instead i will buy and keep for histories sake. my club has a big show coming up in september, and i might put a track together, but whether it will be run, and how complex it will or wont be, i dont know. i would rather build with a mix of blue track and trackmaster original.

I have to agree sunhuntin. Brown and blue track is easier to work build a layout with. I prefer to stick to just blue, as some the kids seem to like the special tracks Tomy made. Don't know why, but they do.

hey, least now those that make the crash videos can wreck these rather than the decent stuff.

LOL
Doesn't even look like Thomas. Once again hampered by those one size fits all chassis.
I wonder if this is a limited realease or something like the R\C engines, but still a piece of junk. The Tomy version of this that was large and had the screwdriver to disassemble and reassemble. Now that was a good product.

That green thomas, I think is thomas from London Brighton & South Coast Railway which is where the original E2 class is from!
