Tomy Donald help

Hello everyone, my Tomy Donald just randomly stopped working and I cannot find the issue with him, so, I just decided to use another flat drive unit from a TM classic Caitlain from my childhood. but her flat drive was too long, so, I just plan to use a Plarail AEG Thomas one, but I just need someone to confirm that one from an AEG engine fits in a Tomy Donald. thanks

I suppose they fit, the drive unit it's the same as Donald, Douglas, Oliver, Spencer...

All Flat Drives are not created equal. Have you investigated why it quit working to see if its repairable?
