Thomas Crossing the Bridge Set

Recently got this Asia Exclusive set from 2011, the Thomas Crossing the Bridge set the box is a bit messed up, but the contents are mint and fine interestingly its the same set for the 50th anniversary C12 set though now replace with Thomas Annie and Clarabel for this iteration.
Anyone ever had other Asia Exclusive Plarail Thomas sets?

That brown bridge is very desirable. Are there any non-Japan non-Thomas Plarail sets in the Phillipines, the way there are in Taiwan for example?

I agree Dr Chris and....I don't believe I have never seen this bridge as part of any Thomas set before. Originally, I think this was only included exclusively in the 2009 50th Anniversary C-12 set. My brain is also telling me that this may have also been available more recently. As long as my old mind isn't forgetting but this is a new one for me, very interesting. 👍

LOL...I was counting on it Dr Chris. You keep me grounded so I never get a big head thinking I know (or can remember) everything.

My mind may be getting confused with this updated bridge/viaduct released in a set this year which was only available way back in the vintage years. This remake has embossed concrete blocks on it and has been updated in height to accommodate the measurements of the change to new type risers from the original standard yellow clip in rail risers which were a tad bit shorter in the old days. The newer version can also accept track connected to both ends without the need for a riser added to each side to hold them up. As far as I remember this 2024 release is the only updated bridge of its kind since way back.

Wow...so both sets with the brown bridge, the Thomas and the C-12, were both released in 2009. Thanks Dr Chris 😊
