I was right! Somehow I got this image of the bullet train listing and the same shop uses the same watermark seen in that LCF Talk n Action Magic Rail Thomas promo! We are so close!

If it was the case then it makes sense, the battery would drain very fast to power the motor and soundchip. Many Plarail knockoffs with soundchip use at least 2x AA batteries. (Southward Toys and Passenger train are the best examples)
