Your stepped on and broke guess is a good one as those rising curves are made of a harder plastic than the regular tracks.

Hello everyone,

First of all, merry(late) christmas and a happy (early) new year. Big Grin

Secondly, since christmas wasn't long ago I wanted to spoil myself and get some more plarail stuff. So I purchased a big lot of track pieces, as I felt I've gotten enough rolling stock but not enough tracks.

The lot contains:

70 R-01 Straight rails
40 R-02 Half-Straight rails
47 R-03 Curved rails
10 R-04 Large curved rails (no longer for sale)
2 R-08 Stop rails
10 R-11 Turnout rails (6 "L" turnouts and 4 "R" turnouts)
3 R-12 Figure 8 point rails
1 R-14 Crossing point rail
1 R-15 Double track point rail
1 R-16 Automatic point rail (Three way automatic turnout)
1 R-17 New point machine (Three way switch)
26 R-18 Slope curve rails (13 A & 13 B curves)
2 R-19 Automatic turnout rails (Standard automatic turnout)
Lots of R-23 flexible rail
And 15 J-22 Double track risers

Once it arrived, I was honestly a little overwhelmed. It sounds a little silly, but in the listing it didn't seem like that much, but once it arrived and I started unpacking I realized just how much track this really is. But hey at least I won't have to worry about track shortages now Tongue

Of course, I built a layout with my new track pieces. I think it turned out alright.
