My current collection

After having started collecting Plarail for about a month I decided to make an account on this forum. I'll be using this thread to share all the items I get for my collection.

The first items I owned were actually some old stuff I kept from my childhood. from left to right:
- 400 Series Shinkansen in a Tsubasa livery
- E1 Shinkansen Max (Has a broken gear and doesn't run properly, I don't have a replacement gear for it sadly)
- EF 60 19

All these items were from the Tomica Hypercity range of items, back when that was still a thing. I used to have a lot more of it, but sadly I donated most of it when I was younger thinking that I'd never need it again. The EF 60 does have the included wagons, I just didn't show them in the picture. Over the past month now, I've manage to get some more items for my collection. Notibly:
- Yokosuka line E235
- Steam along Thomas (Used, steam and sound functions don't work and don't have the right tools to fix it at the moment)
- 6 car L0 set with speed change

My plans for future items is to get more freight rolling stock, since that's what I'm lacking at the moment. I am getting some more items for christmas, but you'll have to find out what they are once I get them

It's finally time I get to post on this thread again! Most of my Amazon purchase have arrived today.








First, I got the 12 car EH500 set. A great set if you're looking to get more freight cars.



I also got 2 of the new Long Type tank cars. I was very looking forward to these and they did not disappoint 



And "finally" the Long containerset with the EF200.



The blue container opens up to reveal its carrying not only fruits, but also little versions of the set itself!

Now I just have to wait for the car transporter set. For some reason Amazon decided to ship it separately to the other items...

Amazon have more than one warehouse in Japan, hence the separate shipments. It doesn't matter though, the postage is the same regardless of origin. If you look at the tracking for your two packages, you'll probably see that they started off in different places.

Now you have to decide what's going to come out and go onto your layout(s) and what's going to stay BNIB.  I do recommend keeping all the boxes and all the bits and pieces that are in them such as polythene bags, foam blocks, cards, instructions etc.

I didn't think about Amazon.jp having more than 1 warehouse. I did remember seeing that they came from different origins. And yes, I am keeping all of the boxes for my plarail trains, as long as they're still included.

My autorack set has arrived!









Included is an EF65 locomotive, the autorack itself as well as 2 basic looking plastic cars. The top of the autorack comes off to allow access to both levels. The included cars aren't painted at all, have no features and are nearly hollow on the inside. Of course, you're meant to put tomica cars into it, but I'm sure anything of similar size like a Hotwheels or a Matchbox car would work fine.





One thing I really love about the locomotive in this set is the retractable front coupler, which allows me to do double heading with My EF60.





That's it for my Amazon purchases. I still have some stuff to be revealed on Christmas, as well as some other purchases that I'll be talking about sometime in the future. So stay tuned for that.

Very nice JT. One thing about the Car Hauler, I think there is a video showing that it may not fit under an elevated track or riser with certain Hotwheel,Tomica, Matchbox cars on the upper level. Now I am not sure if it was from a member here.

It would absolutely not fit under any riser piece if it had a car on the upper level. There's barely enough clearance for it to fit even without anything on it.

Today's the day! It's Christmas! Time to show off my gifts. 



First off, I got a complete Doctor Yellow set from Kato in N-Scale.



And I got a ČD class 754 from Roco.




As for Plarail stuff, I got the S-53 C57 Yamaguchi, S-16 Automatic Speed Change E5, 6-car Doctor Yellow set and the Train Suite Shikishima.




Some other stuff I got are some new sweaters, new shoes and a new printer since my old printer is broken. I'm very happy with all of the stuff I got this year and I hope that all of you who are reading this will have a great Christmas.
