goodness no, TB2 is just around 40cm long i’d say. the figures are closer in size to a polly pocket. i do think they made a few barbie-sized action figures though, along with 10cm figures of all the main characters (of which i have john)

I really do need to remember to be more active here 😅
However this past Saturday I had the most brilliant charity shop find, the Tomy Train 3 set, plus the Chug-Along Express engine and the level crossing, all boxed!!
   
Only a few extraneous pieces are missing, namely the ladder and fences from the freight place.
Neither of the engines were working at first, but I’ve since gotten the green engine that came with the set going (had to swap out the motor). It seems whoever had these last removed one of the battery terminals from the blue engine (there are some marks from a soldering iron visible). I’ll do my best to solder a new one in!
