Wow...You must be having a ball either that or you are addicted to buying Plarail to make up for lost time 😆

Well, I think the best way to explain it is that Plarail gave me a chance to escape and it brought me happiness.

The inability to travel in the last three years due to the pandemic, loss of loved ones to covid, the financial loss from crypto bankruptcies and also stock investments of 2023 and on top of that, health-related situations that came out of nowhere (preventing me to travel for a fourth year).  I couldn't understand it...I felt crushed and defeated because I was dealing with loss upon loss or bad news after bad news.  It was heartbreaking.

There were times I wish I could rewind back to 2019 before things went grim...



But my passion for trains including Plarail and N Gauge helped me deal with the heartbreak, the crushing feeling of loss after loss these past few years and while I did spend money this year on trains, more than any previous year, I have no regrets.   Investing in cryptocurrency and losing everything because of the bankruptcy of these companies....that was not worth it and have regrets.

I was able to get the Thomas trains that have been kept on my wishlist, Keikyu trains that I wanted, Plarail Expo and limited trains I wanted... So, my collection has grown a lot.



But unfortunately, what I will post on this very thread will soon be coming to a halt as I have to get back to my stock investments and get back to life. Back to adulting

 I'll still purchase Plarail but not as much as I did in 2023.  

So, no regrets.

I don't understand Japanese but in the video by the sound of her voice and the images I was getting a feeling that the song was all about wishing things in the world were back the way they were before the Wuhan outbreak changed the lives of billions around the world. Even if the song isn't....I still loved the vibes it was giving off. Was this video a creation of yours?

Hi Super,.

It's a video I made (but the song is by Yui, beautiful song).  The video reflected my feeling of life at the time, no travel, stuck at home, work at home.  Unfortunately, the first wave of covid took my father and nearly took my mother.  Then friends started getting hospitalized, passing away and I felt powerless.  I kept asking myself, what is going on with the world?  And just wanting to rewind.

So sorry to here of your loses during the disaster of what had happened. Well done with the video, you were able to bring out the emotion even though the language was foreign to most.
