Tomica world 7524 question

Hi everyone

Has anybody ever fixed a likely cracked gear on the Automatic Construction Site set? Or at least took pictures of the internals? My rollers aren't moving smoothly, so since I have a community now, instead of figuring it out myself I figured to ask before opening it up myself with no prior knowledge to it's internals.

Honestly, I was trying to figure out a way to say hi again to everyone since the change over through a thread, so I figured I'd ask this question.

Could you post a picture of the Automatic Construction Site set, I am not sure exactly what set that is.

Hey Mitza

I am not familiar with that set not have I seen it in action. Have to check if there are any YouTube videos.

I tried (Probably not good enough though). I thought good ol' Muddy would have it easily listed or even toytrains4u but haven't had much luck. Plus those two guys very likely wouldn't have taken it apart. Maybe Chrisjo might know about the internals? Or LaG?

I was just looking to see how it works before making any suggestions. Di you buy it like this or have you had it working?

Oh yeah it worked before but now doesn't (not as smoothly anyway) so if I use my finger I can easily make the gear skip to keep turning... Hold on I'll make a quick vid

Uploaded.  I didn't bother including the additional peices for the demo.

That is so cool. Hope someone comes by with some knowledge of this but if not and you do open it up, please take some photos in case someone has the same problem in the future. Are those tires bald?

I'm either going to tackle this or put it back away for another time. If I do attempt to fix it I'll take pictures and explain myself for others with this set in case they're going through the same thing...Old toys man.

Lol I just saw your post saying the same thing. Oh and no they're not bald (I would be doing donuts with this lol)
Ohh I think I get it, meaning they might not be turning the rollers. No, it's likely an issue with a gear inside. It's the same feeling like the Non-US Tidmouth turntable

Wow those tires look super grippy with the grooves that should turn those tumblers really well. Strange that it will work with your fingers but not with the tires. Try this for kicks...take one of your Plarail engines and see if it turns those tumblers.
