Hi! It's me again, so sorry if I was inactive for months, I don't have enough time to make treads, in this time I want to show some knockoff Takara TOMY Plarail knockoffs!  Big Grin

Rail Train Series (manufactured by an unknown company)

These knockoffs features a knockoff TOMY/TrackMaster Thomas engine made by LCF (Company who made <<Player World Go Go Go>> sets), Annie coach(es) and blue tracks. In the box shows Thomas with different sticker graphics and unpainted buffers, and Annie (Seems to be labelled <<Clarabel>> in the box) looks very close to the licensed toy. You may seen this Thomas before because Leokimvideo reviewed it!

Rail Master, better known as Battery Super Tomas Operated (manufactured by HongLida)

Unknown diesel engine.

Harvey The Crane Engine.

Thomas The Tank Engine.

DR BR 80 Class Locomotive.

C12 Class Locomotive.

According to EPTOYS, they are dated in 2005, possibly one of the oldest TOMY/TrackMaster Thomas knockoffs to produced. These sets features an engine with rolling stock and tracks, and the engine packs includes an engine with 2 or 3 trucks. Many variants of these sets under different names exists so I can't show them of all here Confused . The engines which comes in the sets and packs are Thomas The Tank Engine, Harvey The Crane Engine (actually is Thomas with Harvey's crane and cab), C12 Class Locomotive, DR BR 80 Class Locomotive (with a cowcatcher), and a diesel engine which I couldn't indetify so I will grateful if you know the class of this engine. All engines work with two double A batteries. You may seen the knockoff Harvey before https://twitter.com/lad_softelliot/statu...3688083457 !

I wanted to show more but only 10 images per message are allowed, maybe I would make a part 2 of this thread??  Sad .

Thanks to read!!  Cool .

Hi Kirby

Very interesting, I have heard and seen some about the LCF & the Player World Go Go Go trains but this is the first I have heard about those Rail Master trains. They are very curious especially a motorized Harvey even though it may be an altered Thomas. The Cage wagons are interesting but I would have to guess that none of these can clear a Plarail elevated risers but they do look neat/different.

Thanks for sharing

Unknown diesel engine.
This locomotive reminds me of a Union Pacific M-10004 for some reason, specifically the cab.

Nope, this ain't a diesel at all 😁

What's happened here is that someone's taken the front car of the Plarail 485 Series EMU (the 'Tomy Express' to all us Tomica World collectors) and modded it to fit onto a Thomas loco chassis, for reasons that only they know why lol

I can assume this was their vague attempt at cloning the special edition Plarail Jurassic World train since it has dinosaur wagons attached, but dear lord is this a bizzare train, an EMU driving car pretending to be a diesel loco that has steam wheels with connecting rods (why?) and 2 shoddy looking dinosaur wagons, all in a vaguely Thomas-themed package 😜

'Rail Master', yeah right lmao
Been building Plarail worlds since 2001; Building when I can in 2023 Cool

Time to revive this thread as more bootlegs has been found!
On February 7th 2024, user Gabby (gabbyisdname) posted on Instagram about an old and unusual bootleg TOMY Plarail Thomas the Tank Engine he found on a thrift store.Manufactured by the company Huang He (黄河) in the year 2000, this Thomas the Tank Engine knockoff is quite accurate to the original old Plarail Thomas made by TOMY, with the differences of a different moulded face, headlamp and a cyan switch.

And yes, the same text was used for Fandom Chinafake Wiki, but no worries! I'm the same person who wrote it.
