I don't know what is going on with my AEG talking Percy. Try pressing the talking button but it not moving or talking. i try replace a new batterry but it didn't help. i don't know if it because i left him for long time or anyone know how to fix him.

I doubt it's due to the fact that you left it for a long time, it may actually be something internal. If you're lucky it could be a broken wire or something like that, but it could also be something wrong with the circuit board. However given that you aren't getting any motion, it's probably a problem with the connection between the terminals and the motor

for older trackmaster or plarail, the oil and grease from the gear may clog the internal mechanism. i fix it by removing the motor off the chassis. sometimes it works, sometimes i doesn't. so you are taking a chance by disassembling the chassis.

If it's AEG, and Fisher-Price then it's probably that famous Mattel quality control at work (or lack thereof ).
Still, I second what's been said already, it's probably a loose wire, and if so, you'll have to pop it open to secure said wire again, otherwise I can't say I'm sure exactly what to suggest. Been building Plarail worlds since 2001; Building when I can in 2023
