Looks like Plarail has just released a (called it) C12 dressed as Thomas!

I'll certainly be getting one! Looks like a good addition considering Trackmaster isn't really a big buying thing for me anymore
What are your guys's thoughts?

Hi yes it is a C11 refurbished to look like Thomas it ran all summer in Japan, on the SL railway: http://www.oigawa-railway.co.jp/20140700thomas.html I pre ordered mine months ago according to tracking it will arrive tomorrow morning! I am very excited it looks just like the Japanese real life Thomas!

This will be limited I dont know to what extent, but I could see it just being available in retail for one years time, after that the secondary market price will go up substantially!

I did see just this morning that Thomas was available at Hobby Search and I immediately thought of you Gerisplarail1. He looks great and those brown express coaches too. Hope you will do us a favor with some pictures when you receive him tomorrow. Wow and a real life Hiro too. Wish there were more pictures of him that were larger. Thanks for the link.

i got one from jauce for Y1900. also saw one listed for just over Y1800. he just looked too good to resist, and the limitations on his availability helped. not only will he be rare in japan, but super rare in other countries.
