James at Wellsworth Station Set

One of my friends in America discovered this set while browsing eBay, he wishes to know if this item is rare, I've never seen it before myself so he asked if I could post it here to have the experts take a look at it to see if they could uncover more about it, have you guys seen this set before?

Apparently it was only available online and in mail-order catalogs in America. It was also released in the UK under the name A Day Out with James Set. Seems pretty rare, I could only find a few photos of it
