Repairing Replacing Broken Wires

Had not thought of super glue!

I can only imagine what caused the broke couple?
The whole bag of trains I bought are like that!

Looked like somebody didn't like trains!
Maybe they picked them up once too many times?

That is a special coupling on the Steam Along Thomas, most likely the others can be replaced if they are wired tenders. This Ebay seller has replacement couplers that you don't have to cut the wires if they are still attached to install.

I have a broken Edward he's tomy but both his wires are broken and the little black isn't there any more so what should I do with this throw it away or fix it I need help badly

Fix it! Buy some new wires and solder new cables in, you can replace the length from the tender to the motor if you want!

I agree.. Fix it. But be prepared. Once you repair one and. See how much fun it is you may be hooked. I replace the motor in a bash or dash and then was hooked after that. Replacing the wire is not that bad. Just try and get the same gauge wire as if you get to big it will cause issues in turns and too small it would be very delicate. Good luck and post back with any questions as I am sure we have are most all scenarios. Lots of expierence and help on these forums.

Its all about gaining experience. Even if you try and it doesn't work, you learn something for next time. Also if it doesn't work out don't throw him away, his parts could be used for other later, train repairs.
