What To Use To Fix Damaged Lining On Engines?

4 Replies, 3261 Views

Recently I got a Talk N Action Gordon, he's not in the greatest shape and needs some restoration, especially on the lining, on the splashers its almost all gone, I was wondering though, what should I use to re-add it on, should I be using paint or maybe a permanent marker? Also what brand should I use to get the job done in a way that makes it look exactly the same as it would have done all those years ago?

I use a red oil based Sharpie to do red lining as it gets the job done quickly and efficiently.
name's roxaclock, see ya around!

@FfarquharDeveloper Alright, I'll give that a shot, I won't use it on Gordon first however as I want to make sure it will work

YouTuber 'Custom Trackmaster' Has a video or 2 on how he relines. I believe he uses a Oil Based Paint Pen (don't know the brand) but he actually slices the felt tip in a flat wedge.

Here is one video showing his pens and one showing his chisel point
