Well the coach that I found ebay appeared to be very consistently coloured with no signs of sun damage anywhere not even on the blue paint.

What if that coach was a factory error because they used the wrong paint?

Indeed. By the way, I should say that I'm extremely grateful to GreatGordonFan for spotting the listing of no.1. I'm sure we all are. Very good work. Now we just need to make an extra effort to find more. Has everyone examined their collections closely now?

I love the blue on coaches. Was thinking buying few and put in sun for while to test it. We sun lot here so testing it will work. But I'm not sure if I willing want do it or not if I managed to get some. ?

I suspect one could run such an experiment in a much shorter time by placing a test piece under a UV lamp.
