Admittedly the face cast work here isn't my finest but I think it works well enough and gets the point across.

Slender Engine:


Figured the spare donald would get more use if I turned him into the Slender Engine instead of just waiting around to pick up another Donald specifically for Slender Engine.
The Slender Engine is a character created by DieselD199 and my favorite short of his turns 10 this year.

2024-11-19 Update

Polar Express:



Finally got around to starting The Polar Express, using the Plarail JNR coaches and an observation car, not sure where this one in particular comes from but to break it down. I'm doing minimal modifications to the coaches (roof reshaping and repainting) and most of the modifications are going into the loco to get the shape correct.

Figured I'd use the one JNR coach I had laying around since it wasn't going to get use anywhere else. And then picked up another 3 + the observation coach to finish the rake of coaches.
Unfortunately rustoleum really frustrates me because I've had to repaint them 4 times due to the paint getting clogged up at the nozzle, and the observation car needs it's 4th repaint later, sucks but can't do much about it.

The color used here is satin wildflower blue.

Excited to see how the Polar Express turns out F-far. What does the 'Observation' look like?

It looks like this, need to repaint the rest of the brown in black and then add the P.E. initials.

Not sure how I'm going to do the polar express text, might use cut out vinyl to make it since it's probably going to be too much of a hassle to try and write it all down.
