Full of sludge!

Tonight I decided to make a very quick and simple modification. I’ve always liked the “sludge tenders” that appeared in the Series 3 episode, “Tender Engines” from Thomas. So, armed with a rather brittle and more-green-than-blue Gordon tender, I made one.

It’s quite simplistic but I like it. The tender was painted in an ashy brown colour, before being dry brushed with various orange and brown shades to simulate grime and rust. The coupling was made by fixing a small metal hook to the tender, running the end through the screw hole for strength. I’d also like to point out that Henry looks rather dashing with it, even if it is only an old rusty tender! -MagicRail
