finished my d199 here it is
first take the claw off remove the claw and roof with a Dremel then super glue cardboard parts on the holes on the inside fill and side too top I made the diving part with cardboard front and made the middle smooth to look different back side with cardboard to bump it out and then did a bit more they are attached with super glue and it was a pain in the rear to do and the other side back painted grey primer front side back painted a bit more side side a look at it another look back front tape (I put in my arm I did this for the acrylic to not peel off my mom told me this once) painted blue and the back side paint for the face painted yellow with a interesting face removed the paint of the eyes to not repaint back with cream painted windows on the front and side was paint removed back painted too a few details added eyebrows are stickers and squares other side small name on the sides and painted black some things added too side to show how it looks back too overall I am happy on how it looks and its pretty close to the ertl model but was loose inspiration

Fantastic, You did an awesome job T-Real, I love it!
and I looked at my ertl butch I saw that something isn't right and I think I knew why
ertl. the tv series and so I decided to do a modification first remove some sides at the front to make it skinnier (I wear glasses when I do these modifications as to not get things to my eyes) then I did the base itself how I did to make it skinnier I put cut tape as a way to know how to cut it I later used thin cardboard to the sides and painted black to make it not empty with cardboard here it is being repainted the face and body the front side I also modified the sodor mail truck to be more accurate gray roof black around the headlights and red rims comparison to how it looked before modifying paint makes a difference the side and other side I also did some modifying to my ertl George I still need to put his name on the boiler part and after that he's done other side all three butch in a flatbed I am quite happy on how they resulted I was really sure on butch and he just looks 10xx better but yeah

I did some more modifications I took Hugo and did some things
wheel modification has a molded 3rd wheel not any more with the donor wheels hank and Harvey coach wheels back hole will be filled eyebrows are big now theres none and I also painted the sides and wheels a light blue that's more accurate I also did some new eyebrows the side back has the hole filled so no more coupling and another angle new and improved Timothy I took my original one ad added a gold lamp and did the front better another angle back is now better I also did the wheel modification with some black wheels timothy's original face and wheels (paper face that's not really good) I did a bit on the original bottom to take the pins to add to the pin-less chassis the one that's been used at the moment is the diesel 10 one I did the red and s c c lettering as he didn't have any with other engines I did Stanleys boiler lining better than before I think he looks better now other side last but not least I did the red on boco better I will do the roof at some point the back and with bill and ben any criticism is welcomed

Nice upgrade mods T-Real 👍
I decided to refurbish my Alice as she is a bluebell primrose and not Stepney so that's what I did
last front side and back the running board only had 1 coat of black paint removed the Stepney buffer top thing how I removed them was pliers buffer and then the little part back was the same and card added to hide the gap as I removed the sandbox at the back of her as primrose does not have that same with the top tank things and she does not have that too and the back filled I secure it with superglue and cardboard at the back glued buffers and shell in back side I also made the back of the motor shorter as to not make a bump painted the whole thing grey and then black except the lamps she shouldn't have them but I will keep em just cause back and side side painted the shell and went over a few areas back too and painted the red red to match the side back and now with the silver I also removed her traction tires as they were melted to the model and replaced her side rods with clean white ones and gave a new black wheel as one was blue but painted black after 4 years I removed the wheel and added new rods I also clean the front axel as to look shiny shiny axel and not dusty back top bottom I think I made this model a bit different as I want her to look like bluebell its close enough I will also show a breakdown crane coupling mod later

I did a modification to one of my breakdown cranes and gave it a loop so the hook can go on it better than a hook in the middle and is around the same length as a hook and I made it by taking a broken hook and a loop is a trackmaster 2 one superglue did all the work
the new loop and the cranes hook I took out and in action its a bit longer but it works as it doesn't look terrible and thought turns it works and on tomy track modified nia and the elephant truck side other side wheels have been swapped and the base is a Thomas and wheels from a percy conversion I no longer needed the orange isn't close but its better this way back buffers painted elephant truck has wheels smooth and not spiked I like it but it looks better now as its flat bottom I still have the box I got her as a Christmas present in 2018 it was originally £21.49 but then it increased and they are £19.99 and the back of the box I like Thomas and ace pack I would get it just for ace

well Im back this time with buster I got him for a reasonable price of £6.99 and not bad condition I was able to make a new roof as he didn't have one and I the process made him a bit better
no roof other side back I used multiple images of the web to dictate the size and how it should look and made this used a bit of toilet roll for the roof toothpick for the front support and the back I did the little points that stick out with a long toothpick and cut it used dremmel to sand back sketched the lines better one used a soldering machine to do this if you are recreating what I am doing or are inspired please be caustious as the soldering machine is extremely hot and I almost Burnt my finger in 2019 the thumb and it was a pain had to put in a bowl of cold water for 1h or 30 minutes batter view all painted with the stickers and other view better angle also painted the front gold as it was black other view painting the wheel guard on the front black to have a bit more detail after drying now on display on better light and looks good I did a decent job remaking it I was thinking 3d printing but it would be tedious and thus made this top side back looks excellent compared to ertl George he is bigger by a bit but it works busters a nice model but he is overpriced and I got him at a reasonable price none the less
