Well, that settles the question. I do like the train with the black wheels. Thanks Dr Chris.

Well there goes saving the box for storage as you have to destroy it to get the train out in this new design. They still have the ridiculous holes in the wheels for the old , old packaging when they are no longer needed. And they couldn't even make the drive wheels without the large hole for a traction rod...geesh.

The only plus side is that at least 'Brand New In Box' will be verifiable, rather than being a euphemism for 'actually my kids played with it for ten years filling it up with carpet fluff, after which I put it in the box and sellotaped it back up'.
