All the previous pictures were taken in daylight (it was a beautiful day) and the track was laid on the terrace tiles, so I don't know if you can see the right colour of the rails. When placed on a gray cardboard base, it can be seen that they are actually petroleum blue colour. Most of the earlier tracks were gray:

Is it me or the coaches are shorter? Just when you thought Fisherprice has turned the page on the coaches with the awesome 3D face of Annie and Clarabelle, it has reverted back to boxcar coaches with stickers on them. Also I am surprise the two coaches don't have "Annie" or "Clarabelle" printed on the side. I really hate the red rolling stock especially that flap is ridiculously long. I doubt it will be able to clear the traditional trackmaster tunnels, bridge arches, etc.

Regarding the size, AEG Annie and Clarabel (and the rest of the AEG rolling stock for that matter) would possibly fit push along engine models, and for motorized engines it would be good for the manufacturer to consider producing more appropriate (larger) rolling stock. Current wagons are all borrowed from TM2 and therefore look dwarfed.
Yes, it's odd they made a step backwards and reverted to "boxcar coaches", but the truth is that the coaches from TM2 "Thomas, Annie & Clarabel" pack don't look good with AEG Thomas at all. These coaches are at least 1.5 centimetres too low, too! In fact, there are generally no appropriate rolling stock for the AEG engines at all. As for the Annie and Clarabel, their names have been replaced with ornate patterns, and people speculate it is most likely so that the English names for the characters will not appear in other dubs. But I doubt that; I think they just avoided any inscriptions, because the show is now intended for the pre-school kids. I think the flap on the red wagon could not be shorter, because it has to hit the cradle in order to load the crate. And the cradle couldn't be any lower, because it would be hit by the engine, and not just the specialized wagon. It's not too high for a standard bridge, like that one that comes with the set, but some "traditional" tunnels could be a problem, but they would be a problem for AEG engines too, so... In general, anything lower than approx. 7.5 cm (measured from the top of the rail to the edge of the tunnel, bridge etc.) should not be used with AEG. Standard TM2 supports will do.

WOW...that last picture with Carly in your yard with a full moon is amazing. Well done, its beautiful. At first look I thought you had bought new professionally done backgrounds like the starry night sky in your winter layout but upon further inspection, I can see some of the buildings from your past O Scale Garden Railroad Layout. It was O scale right?
