Mister No, have you tried to connect Kana with a box car or a coach.  I wonder if the backend of Kana will derail a coach or a box car.

No problem with coaches or vans. That's why AEG engines have such long couplings; if they were any  shorter, the upper end of an engine would hit the coach/box car behind it on a steep TM slopes. If they'll make some day AEG coaches as big as AEG engines (and I hope they will: we need appropriate coaches with Kana, for example), I think they too will need these extra long couplings to prevent derailing.

No, the older pre-AEG one. The AEG one you've shown wasn't there.

The snow is melting and Thomas, Percy, Nia, Kana & Diesel mark the end of the season with the last ride on snow-covered rails ...

I am going to miss your videos on this beautiful, well done layout Mr No but do look forward to an all new one come next winter. Anxious to see what your plans are for the next layout to replace this one. Thank you for sharing them all.

Thank you for those kind words, Super. I already miss Lemax Christmas houses, but Venice and Tuscany can stay in the layout, because they don't really have any Christmas features. I'm still thinking about using this clock tower (because Christmas wreaths and inscriptions, attached with magnets, can be removed from it, which I did), and it's the only Lemax clock tower that has a working clock. But there is one nice “off-season” Lemax tower, so I might as well replace it. I already have in mind some new houses and facilities ...

As for the layout of the rails, if I want to have at least two loops (and I want to), there is not much to change with these TM2 rails in a small space ... But changes will surely occur when the Sodor Cup Double Spiral Track Set is released.

There are also some Plarail trains (from the Thomas & Friends series) videos I’d love to shoot, and Takara Tomy, as we can see, is preparing some interesting new releases - so it’s certainly going to be an exciting railroading future!  Smile

Is that a permanent layout in the garden? I always think of playing trains like that in a garden but i'm scared wind is gonna blow them away
