Thank you, Finno.
If you mean how many Kitaro/Medama trains, I don't really know how many they are either. I have two KF-04 (single motorized Kitaro car), the SC-01 train (Kitaro/Medama motor+trailer), and red/blue Father Eyeball motor car.
But I have seen this three car Kitaro train on YouTube:

Kitaro trains are JR West Japan Sakai Line

Similar is this one with the crab, fox and cuttlefish. It's not from Sakai Line, this is JR Hokkaido-East Japan train: Kiha 40 Kitsune, Kani and Ika. It's released in January 2008:

There are some other nice but hard-to-find KIHA 40 Plarail models (with "real" side windows, no stickers):

and this one from the Bantan Line:

There is also this blue one as a part of the set:

And this KIHA 40 rail and road set with the truck:

I really like these KIHA 40 trains!

I have always liked that exclusive 2 unit blue & white Kiha 40 that came in the 3 train pack but would have immediately swapped out those yellow wheels for grey if one made it to my door. I just think the yellow just doesn't look right with the blue & grey.

These are the only trains currently operating in my country. Due to coronavirus we are in full lockdown, all stores (except grocery stores and farmacies), firms and businesses have been shut down, it's forbidden to travel, to go to work, people are required to stay at home (with some rare exceptions) and all public transport is no more for at least 30 days. Even our capital streetcars (the backbone of city transit) ceased their operation.

On top of that, on Sunday shortly after 6 in the morning the capital has been hit with a pretty nasty earthquake (5.4 Richter Scale). One 15 year old girl died in hospital after being found under the debris, and there is heavy damage on thousands downtown (mostly 18th and 19th century) buildings. Some people are being temporarely moved to student dormitories and such places. My 200 year old house is fine, nothing happend (so far). Strange, because I am about a mile from the epicenter of the earthquake. After the first one, there have been dozens of aftershocks, and a rather strong one hits right now as I am writing this.

What are the odds to get striked by earthquake while totaly quarantined and in full lockdown due to a pandemic? I expect Godzilla atack or an alien invasion tomorrow. While waiting, here are my Kitaro/Medama trains in action:

and this one from the Bantan Line:

Does it have a front end coupler?  Is it tucked underneath the chassis?

That's interesting. We had an earthquake last week (5.7). We're all ok though.

@ leylandvictory2: I wish I have one so I could answer you. Nevertheless, if it doesn't have coupler already tucked under the chasis it looks fairly easy to install one...

@Leyland
Thats a good question without an answer why they created a front slot with no easy way to add a hook. My only guess is that there is a blank coach chassis for a tail coach which would have a front hook. This Kiha-40 unboxing which shows the open front slot but no easy way to modify the motor chassis.
