troublesome faces.

nowadays trackmaster barely put faces on the rolling stocks.  You probably seen people selling rolling stocks with custom made faces on ebay like this seller:

I did an experiment the other day by scanning faces on my scanner.  I am still working on.  So far the result is pretty good.  The dimension may be off by 1/10 of an inch or so.

I have to remove the chassis off the trucks as the coupling got in the way.

I cannot confirm the face above is the exact dimension.  You can print it and try it out.

Apparently papers with adhesive on the back should be generally available at your local business supply store.  Before you go out and buy those paper, you need know what type of printer you have.  Ink jet and laser printer uses different types of paper.

When I am done, I will post the faces here for you to download.

I have seen that Seller and have to admit that its a clever idea to help sell very common Thomas train cars. He also looks to be successful in selling custom Thomas engines. Nice work on the scans Leyland.
Thanks Super.  Is there a way for me to upload a pdf file on here?  I created a pdf file that contains majority of the troublesome trucks faces for people to download.  At the moment, majority of the troublesome trucks are buried way at the end of the storage locker.  But you all get the idea how it is done.  I attached a photo on how I scanned the troublesome trucks.  If you have a computer scanner at home, you can replicate what I did relatively easily.  My advice: place all the rolling stocks to the corner of the screen.  So when you finish scanning, you don't have to rotate the truck.  Brake vans are the most difficult courtesy of the round roof.  what I did was i scan the truck upside down.  since the bottom is straight.
