How to reconnect a wire on the Plarail 2003-2014 James?

Ok, I took a wire from another engine I had and sodiered the pink wire off of the Negative temrinal. Then I had to take James apart to soldier in the wire. I did the tender first then the loco. The only problem was the negative terminal. I had to put the melted tin onto the motor end near the switch. I put the wire onto it and it glued onto the sodier. Then I put him back together and he works again and he now runs like a champ years after he broke.

Thanks Super, I'd be happy to do more of these repairs in the near future.

As many I am sure would agree, once you fix one you get hooked, or at least that’s what happened to me. I repaired the motor (swapped) on a TM dash/bash, and was hooked after that.

That's what I mean, the only problem I have left on 2004 Talking James is in his Express Coach. A Battery Terminal needs to be replaced.
