Talk n action Percy Repair

Not to be rude, if I were you, I wouldn't of been rough with the Percy. I got mine shipped into USPS on November 23rd from the same seller and he never broke on me all because I wasn't rough with him and I understand that he's delicate. I once dismantled a TnA Thomas back in the 2000's and I got another last month and never took him apart unless Ripley can when he has an issue. I would of recommend sending him to Ripley for repair like I'll be doing to my TnA English James and Gen 2 James. I'm always very careful with my TnA locos because I took tips from users like Ripley and ucwepn. If it wasn't for BPT and it's users being here, I wouldn't of known more about TnA Engines. It's best not to be rough with these engines and inderstand how fragile they are

Making Customs, Filming Videos and looking for the purest engines. That's how I roll here on Blue Plastic Tracks.

So now, the $50-$80 train is now worth $5-$8. Honestly man, just send the whole thing to Ripley. I have a strong passion for these engines, and even I wouldn't touch the insides unless I was absolutely certain I knew what I was doing. Without sounding rude, you flat out destroyed your Talk N Action Percy. Consult Ripley802 if you want him to fix it for you.
Motti, I can appreciate your interest and how else are you going to learn than to jump in and discover. Go ahead and do what you want with your trains and maybe, just maybe, you will become the new Ripley when you are older and he is gone....not that Ripley is going anywhere soon.....

Thanks for the kind words Muddy/T-Boy/StarSwitcher. And Super you are correct I do not plan to be going anywhere any time soon. :-).
Moti, as we have mentioned before and just to reaffirm what the others have said, these trains are very fragile and need handled with the upmost care. I have hesitated to really sell many mainly because there is a strong chance they go to a buyer and then after 1-2 times of playing with it, it is broke again. They are a real marvel of the talking Plarail engines in my mind and I love to have, collect, repair, and buy them, but if you are really interested in a Talking Plarail model that is less prone to issues I would recommend the “50 phrase” OT-01 a OT-05 range. They are rather durable and much more compact as far as the sound/movement. There is no need for the special green track with them either. Hope this helps. |
