chuggington trains have arrived

after action chugger gave me a link to a really good deal, i bought 5 of the chiuggington trains. they arrived today.

im really astounded with the detail on these guys. the only thing i wish theyd done different is give pete his proper wheels, not the fake ones with standard tomy ones underneath.
the boxes are really attractive in their design, which makes them well worth keeping, not that they would have been thrown out anyway, but its easier to justify it when they are nice.

just rough photos for now. will take better ones when i get time, and decent light. as always, its dark by the time i get home.

emery and rail-bike. i thought it might come with a plakid of eddie, but it seems not. wish the bike had a coupler, lol. i might get some black couplers for emery. the white doesnt look right.


really looking forward to having these guys at a show, to see what reactions the kids have to see them running alongside thomas and co.

Those American outline diesels look prime material for modifying/repainting to me.

agreed, but that wont happen with me. lol. not skilled in that area and prefer to leave things original. totally respect and admire mods other people do though.

question,does dunbar and emery have a flat type drive unit?

ok, i chucked batteries in them last night. dunbar has a flat engine, not sure on the others. dunbar opens right up like thomas, the rest only display the battery compartment when open. will take another look at them later today or tomorrow.
