Final Package From Japan

Finally have completed our collection of bridges with the acquisition of this Blue suspension bridge which now gives us pairs (2) of each of this style bridge, blue, orange and green. As far as I know there is only one other variation of this suspension bridge and that is the very rare, red with yellow risers that I am not interested in for 2 reasons. Not a fan of the color combination as the yellow risers are too common and the decorative top/caps for the tall towers where not included with that bridge set.

Also included in this delivery...something I wasn't aware of...a Disney branded, scrolling advertisement wagon which fits in very nicely into our Plarail Disney branded items. This wagon came with the Disney Dream Railway Mickey Mouse Colorful Rail Set which I totally missed seeing in this set. I love it.

There is only one item left that I am needing from Japan now after acquiring hundreds and that is a certain color Plarail Expo Coach of which I need 2. Further more there is only one Trackmaster item I need from the US or UK and that is a certain coach of which I need 3. So definitely down to the wire.

For the life of me I can't remember the name of this set, maybe a Member who can read Japanese can help. I think this was one of those sets that was only released for one year...2005?

I kept thinking it was called 'Plarail Big Iron Bridge Set' when its called 'Pla-Road Giant Iron Bridge Set' This type of bridge comes in 4 colors that I am aware of...Green, Blue, Orange and Red. What is a bit different with this set is that no train comes with it only a Bus, Police Car and the hard to find, exclusive, Container Truck in orange with blue container.

I actually own Big Iron Bridge. Its a lovely elevated oval with a patina green bridge and the grey viaduct style track.

I assume you are talking about this set (picture below) Killer. I bought several of these mostly to get the gray elevated rails and gray risers. It is a neat set for sure. Its too bad Plarail never got around to re-releasing the long radius curved elevated rails to be able to run them as a double track side by side. They did make them in the past and they are rare and quite expensive if you do find them available.
