Warhammer 40k Trains

Now, on the 3D printing thread recently someone commented on "When can we get some 40k trains" or similar, well lo and behold I stumbled across these 3D models the other day, I think these could be 'modified/re-sized' to fit on a PlaRail chassis (anyone got any ideas of the largest PlaRail loco chassis?!? - with measurements of the existing shell please Smile), what do you guys think?

That’s very cool and fits the chunky “rivet gothic” 40K look pretty well!

Some years ago, I followed a blog where the guy had built an elaborate modular urban table system for games of 40K and Necromunda. He built a train from what I presume were O scale components and IIRC, it featured a skull front (of course).
I think Plarail Daisy or D10 might have the largest chassis maybe.
Play nice & have fun!!Smile
What is Warhammer?
That was me nagging you to do it lol. Honestly I'm really impressed with the results, once painted these will look spectacular.

Warhammer and warhammer 40k are respectively the fantasy and sci-fi fantasy tabletop miniatures games produced in the UK by Games Workshop and are really big in the gaming community Smile

Not heard of it but thats not unusual Blush
Unless you're into miniatures/table top gaming its not surprising, even though one of the biggest licences it's still pretty much a niche hobby, big among teenagers, students and geeks lol!  I'd have to go into the latter bearing in mind my age, although my excuse is I've been interested since my 20's which is a loooonnngggg time ago now Big Grin

I believe Murdoch has the longest unmotorized chassis, and that BoCo has the largest motorized one. Although, that's only in the Thomas range. I don't know about other Plarail trains.

Oh, I see, I think I have seen a few YouTube videos about painting these figures when learning about airbrushing.
