The mystery deepens as both those just pictured by Star also have the straight forward looking Thomas. Could Mod Thana have something really special and rarer that its already rareness with the smiling looking down Thomas? Possibly a one of a kind? Maybe the first drawn from the lottery?

Hi Super .. sorry for caused confusion on Silver Thomas since I have 2 sets, one is real set and the other set is my MOD one. The MOD making Thomas was coating on the 25th Anniversary set, that why his eyes are looking down.

I'm so happy with my MOD silver Thomas, it only 1 set in the world!! Heart

I was hoping Mod would let the cat out of the bag soon!! ...I was LOL because she had told me that she had created a silver Thomas in a PM, but when she posted the photo, and Super with his amazing eye for detail, spotted the difference in the eyes right away, It took all my restraint not to chime in... Smile

Wow, its sure nice to have a plater for a friend. Questions: In your beautiful Gold Thomas You have a clear decal/sticker for the front cab windows but not on your silver mod. Also how did you do those perfect red boiler bands on the 2 mods and how is the black paint on the cab roof of the silver mod so perfect. How did you get the side graphics so perfect...they are identical to the real silver Thomas as well as the yellow window trim. If you hadn't said it was a mod I would swear that it was a real silver Thomas with a different face added. Wonder why the real silver Thomas doesn't have front cab windows.

I just hope that the clay doesn't have oils or such that would damage the beautiful chrome finish, I am sure I wouldn't take the chance.

Even if the playdough comes off (which WILL leave residue that WILL have to be aggressively wiped off) it's going to have micro abrasions, and the finish will never be the same..AND not to mention the scratches from banging and slapping around Percy and Bertie too! Sad

what a shameful waste:/
