Those building sets are pretty darn cool but even directly from the manufacturer, they end up being a bit pricey. The BD12 “Old Hong Kong Tenement” works out to about $89 USD before shipping. The cheapest I could find it on eBay was $95 and $15 shipping USD.

I’d love something like that for urban railroading but it’s a bit more than I can pay at the moment. Still, I can imagine some of those great streetcars or interurban trains Tomy sold a few year back winding their way past these buildings.

That reminded me of the infamous Kowloon Walled City but taken to a new level of crazy! I love it but I’m really glad I don’t live there!
